We have launched a new modern slicker design that is twice as fast and has loads less clutter. We wanted to freshen up and present quick banner links to all the most popular locations on our website easily. We hope this means less time clicking and more time fawning over our beautiful sex toys.
We have now also optimised the website to be a mobile first design as the bulk of our traffic comes from mobile devices. The product and category pages are much better designed for mobile and present an easier browsing experience on the smaller screen.
The biggest change you’ll notice is the speed. The website absolutely flies now as we are using the latest Shopify 2.0 technology and their most optimised theme to ensure we have the fastest experience we can get. Also by clearing out much of the clutter from pages and built up detritus from years of changes we have a leaner meaner beast ready to rumble.
We plan to cycle through the homepage category images regularly to keep the website fresh and clean. At PlayBlue at the moment it’s like when you paint the living room at home and are afraid to touch or hangup anything as you ruin the fresh coat, but give us time and we’ll grow into our new home.
